Dr Vinothini Kannan did not set out to build a dental clinic. She set out to change how people feel about their smiles.
Her journey began at Maharashtra University of Health Sciences in Nashik, followed by advanced clinical training as a resident at AIIMS New Delhi – one of India’s most prestigious medical institutions. It was there that she developed the precision, the discipline, and the patient-first approach that defines everything she does at Smilekraft today.
After AIIMS, she went further earning a formal accreditation as an Esthetic and Cosmetic Dentist from the Indian Academy of Aesthetic and Cosmetic Dentistry. This accreditation is not a certificate course. It is a recognition by India’s dedicated body for aesthetic dentistry that Dr Vinothini has met the clinical and educational standards required to practice cosmetic dentistry at the highest level.
Our Story
She founded Dr Vinothini Smilekraft Dental in Seawoods because she saw a gap – not just in dental care, but in how dental care was delivered. Patients were being treated for problems, not designed for outcomes. Teeth were being fixed but smiles were not being thought about.
Smilekraft dental was built to be different. Here, every patient gets a smile that is designed specifically around their face, their goals, and their personality – not a generic treatment plan.
